Historic buildings, photographed with patience

Historic buildings carry their history in their material: flint worn smooth, brick softened by weather, timber marked by centuries of use. I photograph them slowly, led by light and place, so the images feel true to the building rather than staged for it.

Whether it’s a conservation-area conversion, a repurposed church, or a trust telling the story of the places it cares for, the aim is the same: imagery that respects the building and still works hard for the organisation behind it.

If your practice produces work often enough that one shoot was never enough, I'd love to hear about it. Please get in touch to start a conversation.
