The Lookout, Holkham

One of my favourite things about this building is how quietly it mirrors the landscape around it through simplicity and restraint.

The vertical timber fins echo the rhythm of the reeds across the marsh, and the circular form settles into the dunes with a sense of calm. It feels less like a structure placed on the landscape and more like an extension of it, defined by rhythm, repetition, and intent.
